PMW-UONMCS PARTNERSHIP
Legal excellence remains one of our key focus areas, and we are always looking for opportunities to make meaningful contributions to success stories in both legal training and practice. For two years now, our firm has been supporting the University of Nairobi Moot Court Society in its efforts to prepare law students for future legal practice through participation in moot court competitions. The University of Nairobi Moot Court (UONMCS) is a student-led organization that seeks to impart oral advocacy and legal research skills to law students. Through these intellectual investments, the society has produced great mooters and legal scholars.
PMW Advocates has been supporting its activities through providing judges for their internal selection processes and financial support to fund some of its activities. This year, the UONMCS held its annual moot court society dinner on 30th May 2025 at the Cloud Hotel and Suites. The event culminated the end of the mooting year 2024/2025 and was curated to celebrate the achievements of the society in both national and international moot court competitions. The event also attracted University of Nairobi Faculty of Law alumni as well as other law firms, NGOs, and institutions committed to legal research and mooting.
Our firm was represented by Dr. Wycliffe Nyachoti and Pauline Matata who received a trophy of appreciation on behalf of the firm. We are honored to have been part of the UONMCS Dinner celebration and we remain committed to supporting activities that spur growth in the legal space.
